In short
Bosch’s 12V POWER FOR ALL system is the small battery for its green Home & Garden tools. In the UK Bosch lists seven of them: a handheld vacuum, a detail sander, a multi-tool, a small circular saw, two drills and the EasyCut NanoBlade saw. One 12V pack runs every tool in the system.
It’s a separate system from Bosch Green 18V: a 12V pack doesn’t fit an 18V tool. Bosch’s UK pages don’t say whether the green 12V packs fit Bosch Professional (blue) 12V tools, so check with Bosch before mixing them.
Strengths
- One small pack runs every Bosch Green 12V tool
- Light: the PBA 12V 2.0Ah pack weighs 0.186kg (Bosch)
- The GAL 12V-20 charger fills a 2.0Ah pack in about 65 minutes (Bosch)
Considerations
- A small range: Bosch lists seven 12V Home & Garden tools in the UK
- Only one pack size is sold on its own in the UK (2.0Ah)
- A separate system from Bosch Green 18V, so packs don't cross over
- Bosch doesn't say whether these packs fit Bosch Professional 12V tools
Questions
Which batteries fit Bosch Green 12V tools?
Bosch’s 12V POWER FOR ALL packs. In the UK Bosch sells the PBA 12V 2.0Ah on its own; some of its 12V tool kits come with a 1.5Ah pack.
Do Bosch Green 18V batteries fit the 12V tools?
No. The 12V and 18V POWER FOR ALL systems use different packs.
Do green 12V packs fit Bosch Professional (blue) 12V tools?
Bosch’s UK pages don’t say, so check with Bosch before relying on it.
