In short
Mirka’s 10.8V packs run its small cordless sanders and polishers: the AOS-B and AROS-B spot repair and mini sanders, and the ARP-B and AROP-B polishers. Mirka now labels the system “max 12V”; the packs are rated 10.8V (or 11.1V on the newer intelligent packs), and they charge on the BCA 108 charger.
It’s a separate system for detail and repair work. The packs don’t fit other brands’ tools, and Mirka’s mains sanders don’t take a battery.
Strengths
- Very light packs: the 2.5Ah BPA 11125 weighs 0.18kg (Mirka)
- Intelligent packs report their charge and cell condition to the myMirka app over Bluetooth
- One charger, the BCA 108, for every pack
Considerations
- A small range: four sanders, two polishers and a grinder
- The BCA 108 charger is sold without a power cord; the UK cord is a separate part
- No cross-over with any other battery system
