Physical & Build
The DWS727 is the dual-bevel 250mm slide, cutting 305 × 77mm at 90° with a trenching depth stop and the XPS shadow line, so you can bevel both ways without flipping the workpiece. At 23kg it is heavier than the single-bevel DWS778 but more convenient for repetitive compound work. We rate it the pick for trim carpenters who bevel frequently; if you do not need dual bevel, the lighter DWS778 cuts wider stock.
