The DWS777 is the more powerful 216mm single-bevel slide, an 1800W motor giving 270 × 62mm at 90° at a still-portable 14kg, with the XPS shadow line. Noise is 96 dB(A) and it stays single bevel with no depth stop, so the second angle means flipping the work. We rate it the pick of DeWalt's compact 216mm saws for general site trim; for dual bevel or deeper stock, the 250mm DWS778 or DWS727 are the next step.
