The verdictOur take

The C8FSE is HiKOKI's entry-level corded 216mm single-bevel slide, a 1050W saw cutting 312 × 65mm at 90° with a brake, at 16.7kg. Power is modest and there is no cut-line guide, so it is a no-frills workhorse rather than a feature saw. We rate it a sensible entry-level 216mm choice; the DeWalt DWS777 or Makita LS0815FLN offer more power and a cut-line guide if you need them.
