The verdictOur take

The 115mm slide-switch grinder for anyone already on Makita's 18V LXT platform, the broadest cordless battery range in UK trade. It is fully brushless with an electric brake, soft start, Star Protection overload sensing and AFT, which cuts the motor the instant the disc binds. The slide switch locks on for sustained grinding; if you would rather a deadman action, its twin the DGA467 is the same tool with a paddle.
