The DJV182 is the top-handle twin of the DJV181, with the same 135mm wood depth, 26mm stroke and 3,500 spm top speed, set from a trigger switch rather than a dial. Makita gives 7.0 m/s² cutting boards and 2.4–2.7kg with a battery. Against DeWalt's DCS334 it has the higher top stroke rate, while DeWalt quotes a lower 5.2 m/s² board-cutting vibration.
