Physical & Build
The DJV184 is Makita's compact brushless 18V top-handle jigsaw, 1.7kg bare and 2.1โ2.4kg with a battery, lighter than the DJV182's 2.4โ2.7kg. It keeps the 135mm wood depth but has a shorter 23mm stroke and a lower 3,000 spm top speed than the DJV182. Makita gives it 85 dB(A) LpA, level with the DJV186 as the quietest of its LXT jigsaws.
