The verdictOur take

The DJV185 is Makita's compact brushless barrel-grip jigsaw, with XPT dust and water resistance and a 2.0–2.3kg weight with a battery. It shares the DJV184's 23mm stroke, 135mm wood depth and 3,000 spm top speed. Makita's declared vibration is high for this group, 10.3 m/s² cutting boards against 6.5 on the larger barrel-grip DJV181.
