The DLS714 is a compact cordless 190mm single-bevel slide running Makita's twin-18V LXT system for 36V performance, a light saw at 13.0kg bare, cutting 300 × 52mm at 90° with a brake and soft start, and a quiet 88 dB(A). It has no cut-line guide and a modest depth capacity, so it is built for portable trim work. We rate it a good grab-and-go saw for LXT owners; for bigger cordless capacity step up to the DXT DLS110 or the 40V XGT LS002G.
