Physical & Build
The DVC665 is Makita's twin 18V LXT brushless backpack dust extractor, with a 6L container, 30 l/s of airflow and 11 kPa of suction at 5.4kg bare. Sold body only, it is ready for Makita AWS wireless start and carries a 1.5m hose and a washable HEPA filter, so it suits drilling and sanding overhead or up steps where a floor extractor gets in the way. We rate it a practical wearable extractor for LXT users; the DVC660 backpack vacuum has 36.7 l/s and automatic filter cleaning, and the 40V VC012G steps up to 35 l/s.
