Physical & Build
Makita's pocket-sized 12V CXT saw, an 85mm tool for trim, laminate and light cuts where a full saw is overkill. On spec it is tiny: 25.5mm of depth at 90° at 1500rpm, bevel to 45°, and at 1.7kg with a 4.0Ah battery it is genuinely one-handed. It runs on Makita's 10.8/12V CXT platform, so it suits someone already in that system rather than as a first saw. A neat trimming and second-fix tool, not for breaking down sheets.
