Physical & Build
The LS002G is Makita's 40V XGT 216mm dual-bevel slide on the DXT fixed rail, a flush-to-wall saw cutting 312 × 70mm at 90° with an LED shadow line, brake, soft start and AWS wireless dust extraction, at a quiet 89 dB(A). It is the compact XGT flagship and one of the better-specified 216mm cordless saws here. We rate it an excellent choice for XGT owners wanting a tidy, full-featured trim saw; for full 305mm capacity the XGT LS003G is the bigger sibling.
