Physical & Build
The LS1019L is Makita's 260mm dual-bevel slide built on the DXT fixed-rail system, so the rails do not extend behind the saw and it can sit flush to a wall, a real space-saver on site. It cuts 310 × 68mm (or 279 × 91mm tall) at 90°, has soft start and an electric brake, and uses a laser cut guide. We rate it the pick for space-constrained workshops and vans; if you prefer a shadow-line guide over a laser, Makita's own LS1110F or DeWalt's XPS saws are the alternatives.
