The verdictOur take

The VC2012L is Makita's 240V L class wet & dry dust extractor, with a 15L container, 60 l/s of airflow and 21 kPa of suction at 8.5kg. A 1,900W tool socket, Push & Clean filter cleaning, a 3.5m hose and a 10m cable suit workshop and domestic jobs on general and wood dust, and it runs with Makita AWS through the WUT02 adaptor. We rate it a sensible everyday extractor; the VC1310L cleans its filter automatically, and the VC2512L takes a 21L container at 7kg.
