The verdictOur take

The M18 FBJS is the barrel grip version of the M18 FJS, with the same 100mm wood depth and 25mm stroke but a 6 position speed setting and an auto start mode that ramps up once the blade is in the cut. Its declared vibration of 15.55 m/s² cutting boards is lower than the M18 FJS but well above Bosch's GST 18V-125 S at 7.4 m/s². If you want more depth in a barrel grip, the Bosch GST 18V-125 S cuts 125mm and the EXPERT EXST18V-155S 155mm.
