Physical & Build
The DCD1007 is DeWalt's flagship 18V XR combi, a brushless 3-speed drill putting out the highest torque of any DeWalt combi here at 169Nm and drilling 66mm in wood, with a metal 13mm chuck at a comfortable 1.87kg bare. The three-speed gearbox and high torque make it the one to reach for when you are mixing big auger work with general drilling and driving. We rate it the top XR combi for heavy daily use; if you do not need that much grunt, the mid-range DCD805 covers most trade work, and the FlexVolt-boosted DCD999 is the alternative high-power option.
