Physical & Build
The DCD999 is DeWalt's XRP combi with FlexVolt Advantage, a brushless 3-speed drill rated at 112Nm that ramps up power when run on a FlexVolt battery rather than a standard XR pack. It is built for users who already own FlexVolt batteries and want extra bite on demand without a separate tool. We rate it a smart pick for FlexVolt sites; if you run standard XR packs only, the DCD1007 gives more torque outright, while the DCD805 is the lighter everyday choice.
