The verdictOur take

The DCS335 is the body-grip twin of the DCS334, with the same 135mm wood capacity, 26mm stroke and 3,200 spm top speed. It is 0.1kg lighter but the manual gives higher vibration (7.7 m/s² cutting boards against 5.2 on the DCS334), and speed is preset on a dial rather than the trigger. Makita's barrel-grip DJV181 has the same depth and stroke with a higher 3,500 spm top rate.
