Physical & Build
The DWS778 is a 250mm single-bevel slide that punches above its 17.2kg weight, cutting a wide 305 × 85mm at 90° on the XPS shadow line, close to a 305mm saw's width in a lighter package. It stays single bevel, so the second bevel means flipping the work. We rate it a strong choice for joiners who want big capacity without the bulk of the DWS780; if you want dual bevel at this size, the DWS727 is the sibling to look at.
