It suits bigger workshop and garage clean-ups, with a pleated filter for dust, a foam filter for liquids and a 3m cable; it has no tool socket and is not dust-class rated. We rate it a capable large-drum clean-up vacuum; the TC-VC 1930 SA adds an auto-start power tool socket rated to 1,490W, and the TE-VC 2230 SACL brings L class and push-button filter cleaning.
