The verdictOur take

The CTLC SYS I is Festool's cordless L class extractor, running on two 18V packs for 36V, with a 4.5L container, 40 l/s of airflow and 18 kPa of suction at 6kg bare. It has no tool socket, so it starts through built-in Festool Bluetooth from a Bluetooth battery on the tool or the included CT-F I remote, and it is sold body only. We rate it a neat choice for cordless fitters on jobs away from mains; the CTMC SYS I is the M class version, and the CTLC MIDI I takes 15L with 51.7 l/s.
