The KAPEX KS 120 REB is Festool's flagship 260mm dual-bevel slide, the benchmark for dust extraction and fine-finish accuracy, cutting a tall 305 × 88mm at 90° on a flush-to-wall fixed rail with a brake and soft start, at 24kg. It is expensive, but for trim and furniture work the cut quality and dust pickup are hard to beat. We rate it the finish specialist's saw; the KS 60 E is the compact KAPEX if capacity is not the priority, and the Makita LS1219L or Bosch GCM 12 GDL offer more raw capacity.
