Physical & Build
The CL003G is Makita's 40V XGT brushless stick vacuum with an integrated cyclone unit, giving 16.7 l/s of airflow and 20 kPa of suction at 1.2kg bare. The cyclone feeds a 0.25L dust box, and it has four speeds with mode memory and an LED; it is sold body only. We rate it a good cyclone stick for XGT users cleaning vans and finished rooms; the CL001G has more airflow at 20 l/s and a bigger 0.73L bin, and the CL004G is a cyclone alternative with 110W of suction power.
