Physical & Build
The CL106FD is Makita's 12V CXT stick vacuum, a brushed machine with 21.7 l/s of airflow, 3.1 kPa of suction and a 0.6L container at 0.8kg bare. It is light and simple, with an LED, and suits quick clean-ups in vans, cabs and site huts for anyone already on CXT packs; it is sold body only. We rate it a handy light-duty stick; for stronger pick-up the brushless CL200FD has 14 kPa of suction, and 18V LXT users can look at the DCL180 with 23.3 l/s.
