Physical & Build
The DRS780 is Makita's rear-handle saw on two 18V batteries, with the long in-line layout framers prefer for ripping sheet and joists. It cuts 65mm at 90° and bevels to 53°, but it is heavy at about 5.6kg with two 4.0Ah packs. The 40V RS001G is the same format on XGT with a faster 6400rpm.
