The verdictOur take

The TD001G was Makita's first 40V XGT impact driver: 220Nm, four speeds and six assist modes, including two for self-tapping screws. It is still sold new in the UK, but Makita UK now leads with the TD003G and TD004G, so compare it with those before buying.
