The TD003G is Makita's 40V XGT brushless impact driver, a 4-stage tool rated at 210Nm with the same wood, bolt and self-tapping control as the LXT flagship but more grunt off the XGT battery. It suits heavy fastening where 18V runs short. We rate it a strong choice for XGT owners; the higher-torque TD004G is the XGT flagship above it, and the LXT DTD173 is the platform-matched 18V alternative.
