Performance
Physical & Build
The TD004G is Makita's 40V XGT flagship impact driver, the highest-torque Makita here at 230Nm across four stages, built for structural fixings and large bolts. It is a bigger, heavier tool than the LXT drivers, trading compactness for raw power. We rate it the top Makita driver for heavy work on XGT; the TD003G is the lighter XGT option below it, while DeWalt's 282Nm DCF860 is the highest-torque rival across brands.
