Physical & Build
The VC005GL is Makita's 40V XGT brushless L class vacuum, a dry-only machine with 46.7 l/s of airflow, 23 kPa of suction and 265W of suction power, with an 8L container at 7.2kg bare. L class covers general and wood dust, and with a 1.7m antistatic 32mm hose it suits XGT users after a cordless dry clean-up vacuum for sites and homes; it is sold body only. We rate it a sound dry-only choice; the VC001GL adds wet pick-up with 6L of liquid capacity and 53.3 l/s, and the twin 18V DVC866L suits LXT owners with 8L and 35 l/s.
