How it was sold
The same tool, sold in different ways.
The M18 FID2 is the previous Gen3 FUEL impact driver, a brushless 226Nm tool with four torque modes. Milwaukee has replaced it with the FID3 and it has gone from the main UK retailers. It matches the newer driver on outright torque, so an FID2 owner gains a refined body rather than more power by upgrading; the BLID2 covers lighter use.
