The verdictOur take

The DCF961 is DeWalt's strongest 1/2in wrench: 1,626Nm fastening and 2,372Nm breakaway, about a sixth more fastening torque and a quarter more breakaway than the DCF900, at 3.5kg bare. It is loud (100 dB(A)) and vibration is high at 21 m/s², so it is a tool for seized and heavy fixings rather than all-day use.
