Physical & Build
The basic, brushed entry point to DeWalt's cordless 125mm grinders, and the oldest design we list (2014). It is the no-frills pick, but you give up the brushless motor and the entire Perform & Protect safety set: no Kickback Brake, no E-Clutch, no soft start and no overload protection. At 2.2kg bare and 7000rpm it is also the heaviest and slowest of DeWalt's cordless 125mm grinders here. Fine for occasional light work, but for regular use the brushless XR models are a clear step up on safety and runtime.
