Performance
What It Can Bore
Physical & Build
The HiKOKI DN18DSL is a brushed 18V compact angle drill, with a single speed of 1,800rpm, 12Nm and a 10mm keyless chuck, at 1.2kg bare. It drills 28mm in wood and 10mm in steel, with an LED and a mechanical slip clutch, and suits drilling and light screwing between joists and inside cabinets. We rate it a sensible access drill for HiKOKI 18V and MultiVolt owners; Makita's DDA351 is a touch lighter at 1.1kg, and DeWalt's DCD740 adds a second gear.
