The verdictOur take

The Makita DA3011F is a 240V corded compact angle drill with 450W input, a single speed of 2,400rpm, a 10mm keyless chuck and an LED, at 1.6kg. It drills 25mm in wood and 10mm in steel, and takes self-feed bits to 50mm. We rate it a convenient mains angle drill for workshop and home use, with no chuck key to lose; the DA3010 is the keyed-chuck version with a published 66mm head, and the DA3011F/1 is the 110V version.
