Physical & Build
The DCD991 is DeWalt's premium 18V XR brushless drill driver, with a 3-speed all-metal gearbox, 95Nm, 820W and up to 2,000rpm, at 1.5kg bare with 11 torque settings. It is the highest-torque DeWalt drill driver here, drilling 55mm in wood and 15mm in steel. We rate it the XR drill driver for heavy drilling and driving where you never need a hammer; the DCD791 is lighter at 1.1kg if you don't need the extra torque.
