Physical & Build
The brushless flagship of Makita's 18V twin (36V) saws, faster and more refined than the brushed DHS710. On spec the brushless motor reaches 6000rpm with 62.5mm of depth at 90° and a 0 to 48° bevel, and it is rail-compatible natively, taking a Makita or Festool-pattern rail without an adapter. It is quieter than the DHS710 at 93 dB(A), though it gives up a little outright depth. For a trade user invested in two-battery 18V who wants near-corded speed and guided cuts, this is the pick over the brushed model.
